Brief introduction of equipment
When the dry ice machine works, the dry ice moves forward axially under the push of the cylinder. The motor drives the cutter head to rotate through the hammer wheel and cuts the massive dry ice
layer by layer into the ice bin. The chopped dry ice falls above the ice through the ice bin. The motor
drives the ice shaft to rotate, and the dry ice is taken to a relatively closed space below, and then blown
out by high-pressure air. Dry ice forms various jet shapes under the constraint of nozzles. Spray to the
surface to be deburred to achieve the purpose of deburring. The jet shape and jet intensity are
determined by the shape of the surface to be deburred, the firmness of burrs, and other factors. According to the target burr, adjust the size of the gun, the shape of the gun nozzle, and the speed of
the motor. Adjusting the motor speed can adjust the ice cutting amount accordingly. Usually, the more
burrs are, the firmer they are, and the larger the motor speed is. The specific adjustment amount is
determined according to the actual situation. II. The working principle
The principle of dry ice deburring/cleaning is that dry ice particles are driven by compressed air and
impact the deburred surface at high speed. Dry ice crushes sublimates and absorbs heat in an instant. The thermal expansion coefficient of the burr is different from that of the matrix, which makes the
burr crack rapidly. Crushed dry ice particles enter the crack. Due to the vaporization of dry ice, its
volume expands nearly 800 times in an instant. In this way, a "micro bomb" is caused at the impact
point, and burrs are quickly peeled off to achieve the best cleaning.
